I have a moderate amount of acne, but I also have some dark spots left from some of my old acne. I hate them and I think they just make my skin look worse than it is. What can I do about these scars?I’ll be going to a dermatologist for my acne next week. Could I ask the dermatologist for something that may help treat the scars?
Today, I noticed a small red bump near my nose, and I think it’s going to grow into a cystic pimple! So I’m freaking out right now. What can I do to prevent this?
i have a few pictures where i have pimples on my face….are there any programs i can get to retouch my skin in the pictures so they dont show any acne?

I’m going to Fl. in a few weeks and I plan on being very careful, but if I do get burned will anything really bad happen?
Also, can I possibly get a little bit of color while i’m there even though im on accutane?
I have tried a few things but i still have some red marks on my cheeks from spots. I never had bad acne but i got one bout of it about a year ago and it scarred. I hardly ever go out without make-up on because of it. It can get me really down sometimes when im with friends and they moan about having small tiny spots and i feel embarrassed about my scars. i really really want them away for good. any good suggestions? They normally become less visible when i get a tan.

It seems like back say at least 50 years ago that no one seemed to have acne. Especially back another good 40 years all those old pictures everyones skin seemed to be clear. Did acne effect many people back then?
I know acne is caused by bacteria, dirt, make-up, and oils. Thats only when you start puberty though.
Why don’t people get acne before puberty when their faces are always dirty?

Ive been taking accutane for 2 months now and i believe it is getting worse! How much longer do i have to wait until i see the effects?
I have mid-moderate “ice pick” scaring along my cheeks from hormonal acne. I just went to my dermatologist, and they told me a procedure that give me perfect skin – a lazer procedure for $3,500 bucks, and I would look like a burn victim for a few months. Well – that’s not an option. Anyway had success with things like mederma or copper peptides for these types of scars – or other things?
My question is about the acne in the middle of this picture above my lips. I have had that white-ish bump there for over a year. It first appeared there after I had a zit there that was irritated. However, if I feel the bump, I can definitely feel something under the skin. What is it, and how do I remove it?

I popped a pimple on my chin about three days ago, it turned into a gigantic gash and i cant stop picking it. How long does it take to heal it? And is there i way i can heal it faster?
I’ve been on Accutane for 2 days now and was wondering what i should be using to wash my face. I use Neostrata oil free gel cleanser, with Glycolic acid. I was wondering if that was the right stuff to use or should i be using something like cetaphil which i heard works very well. My face is also very itchy. Is there any lotion that works well for that? thanks.

I’ve been using Proactiv for about a month and a half and all of a sudden it has started to irritate my eyelids making them dry, itchy and even a little swollen and I make sure to avoid my eyelids when washing my face. I was just wondering why and if there’s any other product on the market that’ll work as good as Proactiv without the skin irritation?
