I really need health insurance. I am a college student and I dont make that much. Im 18 and I dont have any major health problems. I really want good health insurance that I can afford. It would also be nice if it included dental insurance as well.
I don’t make enough money to pay for bare necessities, such as food, rent, car payment, etc. on a regular basis. How am I supposed to pay for dental and health? I am also a single parent, but my son is taken care of. I am told I work to many hours for state aid and because my sons is payed already that I don’t qualify for any help.
There are many Americans who want health care, but cannot get adequate coverage because they have a pre-existing condition, can’t afford it, or are denied by insurers. Maybe they are working but their company doesn’t offer medical coverage for them. How do we help these people? Are they just stuck?
I recently applied for health insurance and my employer started deducting for it before my insurance kicked in. Example: I do not get insurance benefits until May 1 but I am already having it deducted from my paycheck.
If Republicans truly believe that government could never run a good health care plan, should Republican members of Congress say “thanks, but no thanks” to the federal plan that each of them is already entitled to?
Shouldn’t these stalwart conservative legislators be refusing government-run healthcare for themselves?
Do any of them refuse to accept the government plan and buy private insurance? Who?
I have a preexisting health condition (Graves Disease) and might be pregnant. What will my carrier cover and how do I find out? Will I need a lawyer to help me sort it out with them?
I’m 18 will be 19 soon and I have a health insurance card under my dad. I’ve been wanting to go to therapy for a while now, but he doesn’t believe in therapy. I really want to go for my anxiety/social anxiety and I know I will benefit from it. So what can I do to get my own health insurance card?
For health insurance, what percent of the total premium does your company pay VS what you pay out of pocket each month. I’m trying to figure out where I stand. Also, by how much do your monthly premiums go up each year?
So I’m planning on getting my own health insurance and not through the company. The premiums were deducted before taxes last year since I was on the company plan. Is there anyway to get some kind of tax credit for the health insurance premiums I pay this year if I’m getting my own insurance?
I am 40 years old. I want to take Health Insurance Policy for my parents. Age of my Father is 68 & my Mother is 62. Health condition of both of them is good. I have lack of knowledge about Senior Citizens health Plan. I want Comparative Analysis of Senior Citizens Health Insurance to buy.
Just wondering because most insurance such as automobile, life, loss/damage and house has less deny the claims?
But for health insurance, it more details and many ifs and many rules on what to cover and what not to?
Why not make it simple like any other type of insurance such as house, life, accidents, and automobile?
Or other way around, make it more rules and details on what cover and what is not on all other insurance which make claims being deny more.
I am attempting to open an home health care business and I need to know what is a good business insurance quote.
My dad has mainecare, which is the public health insurance in Maine. He is fully-covered.
We found out he has cancer and I live in Massachusetts, so he will need to live with us throughout his treatment.
Will he have to apply for public health insurance or will mainecare cover him?
I am a male and a non smoker, but I have had Epilepsy since I was in high school. I need a health insurance for my health. However, I do not know much which type of the health insurance Health group, Community Health Plan or KPS health plan is good for me in Washington State in the US. Now I don’t have a job and I am independent. Would someone give me hand?
If I accepted a federal gov’t job and enrolled immediately for health benefits, can I start using them right away or do I have to wait something like 60-90 days before I am covered (like with most companies)? Thanks!
Would people who have higher insurance premiums get more of a subsidy? Or would the subsidy just be based only on income, so people at the same income level would get the same subsidy even if some of those people paid 5 times as much in health insurance?
How would the subsidies be administered and paid? Would it be like applying for welfare? Or would it be handled through the tax reporting system?
How many people would have to be hired to handle this?
I have insurance health benefits statements from the last 7 years. Should I keep them or throw them away ?
I am in a low tax bracket (15% I think) and my company offers the choice of having your health insurance payments taken out on a pre- or post-tax basis. I’ve heard that you pay less money in taxes if you get it taken out on a pre-tax basis, but if you get it taken out on a post-tax basis you get tax-cuts at the end of the year. Is there any truth behind this? Please help. I’m confused.
Nobody ever mentions why the Catholic Church as an employer has ANY right what so ever to dictate the access their employees have to health issues.
This is a great example of why health insurance should be de-linked from employers.
Does your employer pay your life or car insurance? Why should they be involved in your health insurance?
It’s crazy.
