My friend got a hold of some bad weed that made him hallucinate. He was then involuntary admitted into a hospital. He is just now getting out and wanted to pursue a dream in law enforcement but seeing that he was labeled mentally ill and a danger to himself and others how do he go about clearing up the misunderstanding?

There is a relative in the family who requires the care of an assisted living home. Institutionalization is not an option, as in, no extended stays at hospitals. We’re looking to put this person into a more residental care facility. The person in question is mentally ill.

What we would like to know is where should we begin to look for such a facility? Is there a type of government office which we should look to?

They must have graduated from high school with a diploma or settled for a GED. Not every ill person wants to ride the government & pinch out every penny they can from SSI or Welfare.
