I want to raise money for sick children who do not have money to pay their medicens or treatments .. But I want to do something different to how other people do. Like something with school mates and with the help of the principal of the school .. I need your help thanks!

I work at a preschool/daycare center. of course, children and very prone to colds and flu, especially in the winter. so I find myself being coughed on and sneezed on frequently, also having to clean dirty noses. so I’ve been getting sick a lot lately, especially since it’s gotten cold outside. I just got over a cold a week ago and I’ve caught another one.

My cat is about 7 months old, and I’ve used this same flea medicine on her before and she reacted fine to it. But this time she’s licking herself more (she’ll scratch her neck where the meds are then lick her paws, or lean her head all the way around to try to reach it) and I don’t want her to get sick or poisoned from it.
I just wanted to know about how much she has to ingest (how much licking!) before it becomes dangerous. Or any tips on getting her to stop!

I have a parakeet who’s sick. It hardly eats, it sleeps much of the time with it’s head on it’s back and every time it ruffles it’s feathers. It also won’t drink much water, though both fresh food and water are readily available. It also can’t stand too long or too well. Every time it tries to walk or shakes itself, it falls over. I put medicine for birds in it’s water each day, and also add 3 drops of a special bird vitamin per fluid ounce of water and per ounce of food. Please tell me what I can do to make the parakeet stronger and healtier. I’m at a loss of what I can do for it.

Say, for example, you’re an English citizen, but you get sick while vacationing in New York city. Would you just be up **** creek as far as paying for it goes, since healthcare is free in England and not the US?

OK, so today my little students (age 6 and 7) played with leaves of a shrub that turned out to be aucuba japonica, a moderately toxic tree. I am very worried. They did not eat them, but they touched them None of them looked sick even after an hour though, only one child felt feverish.
Could they get sick after playing with those leaves?

Every time my husband eats or drinks anything, he gets sick to his stomach and very nauseated. Does not matter what it is that he eats or drinks he gets so sick that he goes back to bed. He is a disabled Veteran, they have given him meds for nausea that does not help.

I was making bacon this morning, but I thought it was pre cooked. We never buy raw bacon before so I didn’t think about checking.
After handling it, I did not wash my hands until later when I found out it was raw. I know that you can get sick from not washing your hands after handling raw meat, but what are the chances? Am I going to get sick?

It seems like every time I start working out 5 days a week I get sick and it makes me break my new habit. The last two times I worked out 5 days and I got sick. This time I worked out 2 weeks of 5 days a week. What gives? Is there any way to prevent this? I workout outside and at the gym. Thanks!
