I’m looking to write a paper about the swine flu health scare and compare it to other health scares in the past, but I’m not even sure if there are any? Does anyone know of any from research or their own experience? Appreciate the help!
I have my first concert in less than two weeks and I am recovering from a sinus infection which has left my throat and my lungs in terrible condition. I am going back to the doctor tomorrow to make sure nothing else has come of my illness, but in the meantime, I need to do everything possible to make sure my voice will be in tip-top shape in no time. If you have any ideas, please help. Thanks!
Could you suggest some books about dealing with mental illness (anorexia, anxiety, depression or others) They can be fiction or not, thanks!

Around where I live, a new hospital is going to open. I want to start a career in the health care field but I do not know what yet. What I do want to know is if there are any health care programs that can be completed in less than a year. If so, what programs are available to take and complete in less than a year to move right into a job?
Some people don’t get morning sickness, only food cravings, but I have a twin sister..who was pregnent, and had morning sickness, so if I were pregnant, would I get the same thing as her, or what? But when do they normally start to get the sickness?
Does public health care really work in Canada? Does it really work in Sweden? Why will it or will it not work in the US.
In my opinion Public Health only works in countries where the citizens really take care of themselves, and the system isn’t loaded down where people suffer from self inflicted problems, cause by smoking or poor diet.
I do believe I asked “WHY” is doesn’t work. Not whether it works or not. I agree that Public HC doesn’t work in Canada.
Exellent answer Mommanuke!
I just want a few simple ways to control morning sickness please.
I can understand that for some types of medication with a longer half-life that it may take time to build up in your system. But there exist some drugs with a very short half-life (e.g. buspar) that take weeks before they begin to take effect. Why is this? My best guess is that your body is ineffective at metabolizing the drug until it begins producing more of a certain enzyme(s)… any input on this would be appreciated as I’ve always wondered about this.
Im 14 and im going to Fiji, Treasure Island with my best friend and my family in 6days and i was wondering what are some things i can do to help her with her home sickness? if you could answer my question it will really help, thanks

Describe the four determinants of health. What are some ways that you positively influence your health in the areas you have control over? How much of your health do you think is your responsibility
Ever since I started working at home, I have been brewing up five or six 10-cup pots of coffee per day, and drinking them throughout the day. If I work late, I might end up drinking over five gallons of coffee. My average is probably 3.25 to 3.5 gallons of coffee per day.
I only started doing this a few weeks ago; what are some possible negative health effects if I keep this up?
I mean, aside from needing to urinate all the time?
Undernutrition continues to be a chronic problem for many countries throughout the developing world. What are some of the health problems associated with undernutrition?
Public schools and colleges have certainly not killed private schools and colleges, so I don’t think a universal health plan will kill private plans either. And both are in the general public interest since contagious sick people infect others, and all sick working adults cost their companies money by missing work. Personally, I’d like to see taxes on unhealthy fats and sugars to help pay for health care. What are your suggestions?
If I am thinking of hiding my mental illness can you give me some consequences or bad things that could occur if I were to hide it?

I am very interested in helping perk up children with long term illnesses. I am 14 years old and was wondering if there are any websites or organizations that allow people to “adopt” a child or teenager with some kind of illness through online. i.e. sending ecards, emails, and messages frequently.
Thanks!
My mother is severely mentally ill and has been in facilities constantly for almost 10 years. I am her legal guardian and there has been a mix up with her social security and now they will be turning funds over to me which have to be spent within 7 days. Does anyone have any great ideas of what to purchase for someone who has their own room in a facility, she has diabetes, she is only 65 but seems 80 years old. I’m thinking to buy her a nice bed, a tv, and some clothes and bedding. any good ideas beyond that?
