I need a diagnosis quick!! :(?

Ok, so for pretty much my whole life, I’ve been dealing with urinary frequency. When I was little, it started out as normal-a little too much but nothing horrible. I could live with it. Then, around the time when I started puberty, it started getting worse. Every so often, it would get worse for a couple of days, it would kinda feel like a bladder infection, but the tests would always come back false. I would get these every few weeks. Then it turned into every week. I would always be able to get rid of them by drinking water. Ever since, it has been getting much worse. It is currently at the point where I have urinary frequency constantly. Nothing makes it better, and even the smallest sip of water makes it 10x worse. I’m going so much but drinking nothing. I actually haven’t had anything to drink in the past 5-6 days, I’m not really thirsty at all, but I’m still going so much. The urine doesn’t burn or anything, and I’m not experiencing any pain. I go multiple times every hour. I always have to get up at least 1 time during the night to go to the bathroom. I don’t drink any caffeine, no soda or coffee or anything. I eat quite a bit of chocolate which has a little caffeine but I’ve decided to get rid of chocolate completely to see if that will help. Even if I have a very small amount of urine in me, the urge is really intense and I can’t hold it in. An ultrasound of my kidney’s showed that my kidney’s are slightly too small for my age but my doctor (who I really don’t like or trust) says it’s unimportant (which I disagree with). I’m just wondering if there are any tests that I may have not done yet that I could get or if anyone has a possible diagnosis that I can run by my doctor. Somehow, my doctor has already ruled out Overactive Bladder Syndrome and IC, but I don’t know how. Um, other info that you might need to know is that I am female, I’m 14, I have Scoliosis and Chronic Migraine Headaches, my BMI is 17.1 which apparently means I’m slightly underweight. Please help!! 

When will my shih-tzu puppy be able to hold her bladder over night?

Hi, I have a Shih-tzu that is about half way though her house training. She sleeps on the couch with me over the weekend when I don’t have school (the couch is next to the front door). She wakes me up in the middle of the night when she has to “go” and I was wondering when she can start sleeping in bed with me without me worrying about her having and accident or waking me up in the middle of the night. When can she hold her bladder all night???

Teachers not letting students use the bathroom?

I’m homeschooled now; but next year for highschool and until I graduate I have to go to public school. I was homeschooled for half of 7th grade and this year now, but before then I was in public school. In elementary school, they always let me go to he bathroom. I have an overactive bladder, or whatever you call it, and I have to pee all the time and my bladder is like really small and when I have to go I have to go BAD and right THEN or else I’ll pee on myself.

So middle schol was TERRIBLE for me , because the teachers wouldn’t let me go! They passed this rule where you can’t go. They had ONE bathroom break right before lunch but the whole time they’d scream at you to hurry. And that was IT, in the whole 8 hours. I have to go ALL THE TIME, and now that girls on their period and stuff.. it’s RIDICULOUS. I would have to go in the middle of the teacher teaching something, and literately rock my chair up in the air and down and squirm on the edge of it so much that people would stare and the teacher KNEW and to the point where I asked in the middle of her talking cause I seriously was gonna pee on myself.. and she STILL said no. It was HUMILIATING. And I’m super shy and I have anxiety issues and I’d almost start crying from having to go so BAD and they wouldn’t let me. And I’m really scared about this happenning in highschool. My mom has sent in note after note.. still nothing. It’s cruel.
I’ve always been a teachers pet; it’s NOT that I don’t wanna follow rules. I can’t HELP having to pee all the time- You can’t focus on learning when your about to pee your pants. It’s hard on me because of the size of my bladder. I know it sounds stupid and dramatic but i’s serious.

what is wrong with me why do i urinate so much?

for the past month i have been needing to go to the bathroom so much. like for example i go to the bathroom and 5 minutes later i have to go again and it just continues to be this way through out the day and night. at night i have to go to sleep really quick or else i would just have to keep going to the bathroom. when i do go to the bathroom i don’t even pee a lot. very little pee but i pee so frequent. it is like my bladder can’t even hold a little pee. my bladder always feel full. i got mirena inserted close to a month ago could that be it? it doesn’t sting when i pee so i don’t have a urine infection and i am not thirsty all the time so i know i don’t have diabetes. but what do you guys think i have? i was thinking maybe i have a overactive bladder. should i call my doctor?
i don’t know if this helps but i did get a cesection 3 months ago

What’s wrong with mybladder? Please help!?

Ok so im 17 (male) and my bladder has been feeling weird. I feeling like i don’t get the feeling of full/empty which i think is making me frequently and very very urgently urinate. My urologist has determined that i don’t have a UTI, and he examed my prostate and he said it was fine. He gave me medicine for overactive bladder but it doesn’t really help. I had a urodynamic test and the technician told my mother that my bladder functions fine. What could this be?

Help! Why has my dog’s crate training progress degressed after potty training him for a month with success?

Hi. I have a 7 month old Yorkie/Pom mix and i’ve been potty training him for the past month now using crate method. In the beginning he has been doing very very well. He knows to go outside to potty and will hold his bladder over night without any accidents. But now it seems like he won’t go potty outside like he use to and he’s had numerous accidents consistently in his kennel overnight, which he never had before. Why all of sudden the change in behavior? His crate is small of enough so that he has just enough room to turn. Nothing else has changed in my training. Can someone tell me why this is happening? It feels like two steps backwards from the beginning.

Gall Bladder Surgery Experiences?

My boyfriend has been in and out of the ER all weekend with severe stomach pain. At first they thought it was kidney stones, then gall stones, now they believe he has a disease. I don’t know the scientific name (it ends in calculus) but more or less his gall bladder has a malformed artery so his gall bladder does not contract correctly. This is causing him to not be able to digest fats in the correct way. He is getting a test done on Monday where they inject him with a radio active dye and force his gall bladder to contract to see if it causes pain. This will show whether it is definitely his gall bladder and if he needs a liver transplant. The surgeon is pretty sure that he will need his gall bladder removed later this week. I was wondering if anyone has any advice or can tell us what to expect. Not really the surgery (I leave that to the doctors) but recovery time, pain levels, etc. The doctors said that its a pretty simple surgery and he would only be out of work for 2 weeks, but I’m worried about him and I know he’s scared and we’d feel a lot better if we heard it from someone who experienced it. Thank you!

variable incontinence in 26 year old male?

It seems my body is confused. For the last few years right about fall I seem to get progressively worse over active bladder which reaches it worst and plateaus around early November, in February till about spring in gets better then right about the beginning of spring i seem to gain an overflow incontinence. The ability to stimulate seems to follow a similar pattern (easy to stimulate during over active bladder, hard to stimulate during overflow incontinence). Is there any reason behind this?
late september till mid march overactive bladder and easily stimulable, mid march till late september overflow incontinence and difficult to stimulate.

Only answer if you have expertise?

Only answer if you have expertise on issue or a helpful answer. My husband has been on disability for 7yrs. He has a severly bad stomach and gets extremely bloated. He has tooken every test known to man. Recently he had 2 kidney stones he passed which prompted drs to start looking at his bladder. hehas past all prostate test but where thinking he may have a overactive bladder or ic (ithink its called etc…) He recently was put on megastrol due to not gaining weight (he was a stable 130 but use to be 150). He gained his weight back and was always slim but his testosterone test are Total-36 Free-6.0 bioavailable -13.5, My questions are is this from the megastrol -he is 44 and also has recently been having libido problems which never has been a issue. Could his bladder have been the problem all along or does it still seem like a stomach issue? He takes 2 dosages of 2 Tylenol 4 w/4mg of hydromorphone every day. he just started the hydromorphone about a month ago. Please Help.

How long can a 3.5-4 lb pom hold its bladder? Can it hold for 10 hours?

I tried training my 7 month old pomeranian to pee on the pad, which hasn’t worked out well at all. Plus, I am getting a husky soon so I now have to teach her to go outside so the husky doesnt get confused. Originally, I wanted her to pee on the pad because I didn’t think she could hold her bladder that long. Once I start working, I will have to be gone 10 hours a day.

Also, does anyone know if you are supposed to crate adult dogs all day long while you are at work? I feel like it is such a long time and they will get bored/depressed.

A question about Kegel exercises..?

hi.. If anyone does Kegel excercises can you try to answer this question?
Ive been doing some research on the internet to teach me how to do Kegel exercises. I’ve located the muscles, and I can feel myself tightening and contracting the muscles like im supossed to…
The problem is, a few sites I looked at all said “Make sure you aren’t contracting your stomach muscles as you do this exercise” and for some reason, I can’t do it without also using my stomach muscles..
Does this mean im not actually doing the Kegel exercises?
Will the exercises still work if you use stomach muscles at the same time?
Im confused :[

Should I confront my mother about medical neglect that has affected me?

I started developing some problems in childhood. When I was 4 or 5, I started ripping off my nails and skin on my fingers. I was sick one day in kindergarten and didn’t tell anyone. After that, I hardly ate anything. My mom would pack me the same lunch every day and ask if I ate it. I said no, and she continued to pack the same thing. She gave us tiny portions of breakfast and dinner. When I was a teenager, my dad tried to get me to eat cereal that had bugs in it. My mom kept overcooking dinner which was 1 chicken leg, 2 tablespoons of corn and maybe a cup of applesauce. I was severely underweight from age 6 into adulthood. I developed osteoporosis and kyphosis and scoliosis because I didn’t get enough calcium/vitamin D because I didn’t eat. She never took me to the doctor because I was too thin. I couldn’t control my bladder when I was 5. I had accidents at school starting at age 5. My dad took me to the doctor for nocturnal bedwetting. Nothing was mentioned about my accidents at school. I would need to urinate after every class in middle and high school. Right now I still have poor social skills for being an outcast because of my accidents. I was diagnosed with overactive bladder when I was about 22. I am 26 now. I tried to figure out what was wrong with my bladder and asked my mom if I could see the doctor when I was 17. The doctor told me I had anorexia. All my mom did was call her boyfriend and never mention it again. I was about 100 pounds and 5’7″ at that time. I developed an inflamed stomach lining at some point. My doctor finally helped me fix it within the last year. My specialist was stumped. When I started ripping the skin off my fingers and ripping my nails, my parents took me to the pediatrician once or maybe twice and claimed I was biting my nails, and he just told them to put stuff on my fingers that tastes bad. I still do it to this day and have no idea why. I don’t know if I’m still anorexic, but I think after about 10-15 years of maybe 500 calories/day, it would probably cause severe damage and probably shorten my lifespan. I can only remember about 5 times my parents took me to any doctor between ages 5 and 18 not including immunizations. My dad wanted some kind of psych eval/counseling done during the divorce on my mom, my sister, and me. I went to a counselor about 3 times, and that was it. There was never an evaluation done, and the counselor had been my parent’s neighbor for 15 years at that point. Is this stuff even worth bringing up to my mom? How can I figure out how much my lifespan can expect to shorten from the starvation?
Patrick G, yeah, so you’re saying it’s MY FAULT I got all this shit? Is it MY JOB to drive to the doctor when I’m 5? You got lucky you didn’t have anything. Some people aren’t that lucky, so you shouldn’t go around bragging about how you turned out just fine and imply that it was my fault. You must have gotten good genes. All the stuff I got was partly genetic.
