Doctor Who question.. What would happen, theoretically, if the Doctor went back in time to when he met Rose, (or even further to the original Doctor Who series..) and met himself? Purely on accident, of course. Or on purpose. Whichever.

I know this is a stupid question, but just because something is at the level of a state department it doesn’t always mean they work for the state. So does the state health department work to protect health at the national, or state level?

I recently applied for health insurance and my employer started deducting for it before my insurance kicked in. Example: I do not get insurance benefits until May 1 but I am already having it deducted from my paycheck.

Which doctor do you go to take care of an ectopic pregnancy? Gyncologist or regular doctor? What type of surgery is it? How long does surgery take? Is it in a hospital or somewhere else? How long does it take to recover? Is it impossible to get pregnant afterwards?
What are the elements of effective communication? How is effective communication related to health?

I have started to notice some numbness in one of my toes recently. It has been numb for about 5 days now. What type of doctor should I go see regarding this issue?
I am not sure if it’s because I am developing a callus on the tip of my toe from wearing sandals all summer long or if it’s because my nerve is messed up.
Any suggestions as to what type of doctor to see? Thanks.

My good friend was recently involved in a hit and run while driving her mom’s car and never went to the emergency room, but is now in pain and really needs to see a doctor. Her mom was insured with Geico, and they are asking for any amounts she spent on medical treatment because of the injury, but she has no medical insurance and cannot afford to see a doctor and pay for it up front. I am assuming that Geico is asking for her medical expenses due to the accident because they plan to reimburse her for some or all of them. How can she get medical treatment without any money to cover it up front though? She does not need to go to the emergency room, just to see a doctor to get checked out because she is really in pain that will not go away.
She’s taking Keflex for UTI but is having terrible morning sickness, she took it about half an hour ago but feels like she’s about to throw-up. How long til it is absorbed? And if she does lose one, will it throw off the therapeutic process?

I have Bipolar type 2 and I’m not taking any medication for it and I’m not seeing a therapist. What are the long-term consequences for this?
I have pretty good grades but did not take Chemistry, only Biology and higher level Mathematics. I’m interested in medicine, more in the patient rapport area than the research area. What qualities are necessary to study medicine? How can I decide if this is what I should go for? I usually score around 123on IQ tests.
Sometimes the value of true relationships is figured when we notice their importance. How will this importance be noticed when Vasudha tries to protect the important relations in her life? Virrudh is a story of Vasudha Raisinghania, a cheerful, loving and intelligent girl who is the doting daughter of Dhirendra Raisinghania a powerful, manipulative, media baron who runs a newspaper called Dainik Darpan. Vasudha soon discovers her fathers manipulative ways but remains loyal to him despite the revelations and takes care of not only his professional interests but also his personal well being. But complications arise when Vasudha, despite being in love, cannot openly pursue a relationship with Sushant, who is a Chief Crime Reporter in Dainik Darpan, since her father disapproves of the relationship. How long can Vasudha keep up this delicate, balancing act between her love life, her professional responsibilities and her moral duties? What happens when a dutiful daughter discovers the truth about her own father? Will she undo the injustice done by her father or will she imbibe the very attributes she hated in her father in a bid to survive the world of politics and business? Can the inheritance of hate and betrayal destroy the values of a sensitive, young girl like Vasudha? Morals, duties and love form a metaphorical minefield as Vasudha carefully tries to walk the fine line.
I live in the US and it seems that every Egyptian I meet is obsessed with doctors (or engineers). Why does everyone in Egypt have to be either a doctor or engineer? How much money does a successful doctor (or engineer) make in a year?
I’m Egyptian myself and I don’t understand why doctors especially are put on such a high pedestal by Egyptians.
