Anyone know of a place where I can purchase used maternity clothes at a reasonable prize. I’m in the Oakland area but willing to travel anywhere in the eastbay and northbay.

Can anyone tell me or describe what very mild morning sickness is like?

I’ve been trying to conceive for a year. Aunt Flo is due in town on Friday. I’ve been randomly nauseous for the past week. I’m hoping its a sign. I have 2 other children but never had any sickness with them. I was thinking maybe I just have really mild morning sickness.

What is pregnancy doing to your body and what are you having?

I know they say a lot about if your hair is this way or that way you’re supposedly having a boy or girl…
If you break out, your having a boy or girl…etc.
If you’re carrying high it’s this or in the front it’s that…

Just wondering how your body is reacting to pregnancy and what you’re having…

I’m 23 wks w/ a boy- my hair is fuller, but I’m breaking out on my shoulders and a little on my back. I’m carrying him all in the front though- he’s my little basketball!

When are you technically in the second trimester?

Just wondering…

40 weeks divided by 3 is 13.3 weeks… A lot of people say twelve weeks but that would only be 36 weeks… since 4 weeks isn’t really a month, a month is 4 weeks and a few days…

So would you say in the middle of the 13th week you are in the second trimester? What do doctors go by?

I had it removed in Feb. After having it in for 3 years. I been tryin to get pregnant ever since. How long does it usually take after having the iud removed to become pregnant? I have two kids already ready for # 3

Where is a good place to get long maternity pants/jeans?

I have a 36″ inseam and it’s been a nightmere trying to find maternity jeans that are long enough. I’ve tried Motherhood Maternity, but wasn’t successful. I’m really not comfortable shopping online. Are there any “brick and mortar” stores you can suggest?

On November 19th I took an ovulation test, and it was positive. My husband and I had intercourse that night and the night after. What are the chances that we conceived?

Is there a way to convert regular jeans to maternity jeans?

I’m wondering if I could cut some of my jeans lower, then sew on an elastic panel. Are there instructions for this anywhere online? Or does anyone know of a book that shows how to do this?
These are older jeans that I don’t mind “ruining.” I would probably be getting rid of them anyway.

Should I donate my baby’s cord blood?

I tend to think donation makes more sense than storage because researchers are still in the process of studying the whole concept of cord blood and stem cells. Also, storage is expensive. What does anybody think?

I want to know from you guys personal experience how early you got a positive and what brands you used. I could possibly be 3w3d preggers right now and have taken 3 pregnancy test with negative results (only 1 of those pregnancy test was for early detection).

Can an eight week old mosquitofish be pregnant?

I have 9 eight week old mosquitofish in a 3 gallon tank. I have raised them since birth, after about 2 weeks I stoped feeding them fry food and started them on tropical fish flakes. They have been living in constantly monitored and maintaned water their entire lives(they are 8 weeks old). The males still have not seemingly developed gonopodium’s yet but one of the fish has been looking VERY pregnant. Can it be pregnant allready?

I had a miscarriage on April 6th. I was 6 weeks along and it was a complete miscarriage. It’s almost been a month since then and still no period. How long does it usually take? I’ve had very regular periods before I got pregnant. What do you think?

How to handle first day back to work after maternity leave?

I’ve been home with my little one for 4 absolutely amazing months – tomorrow is his first full day at daycare and my first full day at work. I feel so incredibly sad – if there were any way I would be able to stay home with him I would jump at the chance, it is just not financially possible right now…..

What was your experience with starting your baby in daycare/going back to work/tips to get through this???? Thanks so much in advance….

34weeks pregnant. I have preeclampsia and OC?

i am having pressure in my lower abdomen and pain there. Also there is pain in my back (lower back) i am not contracting but i am having cramps. The reason i know they are not contractions is because they put me on a monitor to see.

anyone know what this might be??
could this be a sign of labor

If you waited until your second trimester to tell people you were pregnant, how did you pass the time?

I really, REALLY don’t want to tell until I hear the baby’s heartbeat, or until the second trimester. Neither does my hubby. But we’ve only known for 5 days and it has felt like a long time!

Were you glad you waited to tell people? Was it hard for you? How did you make yourself be patient?

If I still have morning sickness is that a good sign that everything is ok with my pregnancy?

I am a little more than 10 weeks and I do not have an ultrasound scheduled until the end of the month. I still have morning sickness. Can I take this as a good sign that the pregnancy is continuing?
